Facelift/Necklift

A facelift (rhytidectomy) rejuvenates the face by reducing sagging skin, lifting and tightening weakened muscles of the face and neck.

The natural aging process causes loss of elasticity of the skin. As we are exposed to the sun and pollutants, deeper wrinkles start to form. The effects of gravity cause underlying facial muscles in the cheeks and neck to become loose. Skin folds appear on the cheeks, and fatty tissue can appear around the neck and jowls, causing the jawline to lose its definition. Weakened platysma muscles of the neck separate and form a “turkey wattle.” A facelift (rhytidectomy) rejuvenates the face by reducing sagging skin, lifting and tightening weakened muscles of the face and neck and removing excess fat underneath the skin, which smoothens out and improves wrinkles. Dr. Sultan uses modified deep plane techniques to reposition the underlying facial tissue, rather than just the skin. By setting the architecture of the facial tissues back to a more youthful appearance, Dr. Sultan can prevent unnatural tightening or pulling of the facial skin, avoiding the “pulled” or “wind tunnel” appearance.

Rhinoplasty

The goal of rhinoplasty is to create an aesthetically pleasing nose that functions well and harmonizes with other attractive facial features.

Rhinoplasty is often referred to as a “nose job.” A nose that is attractive on one patient may not be as attractive on another. The goal of rhinoplasty is to create an aesthetically pleasing nose that functions well and harmonizes with other attractive facial features. It is considered by the majority of surgeons to be the most difficult and humbling operation. Dr. Sultan appreciates this greatly and approaches all of his primary and revision rhinoplasties with definitive preoperative planning under the patient’s guidance.

Eyelid Surgery

This procedure can correct droopiness and wrinkling of the upper eyelids and/or puffy lower eyelid bags.

Since the eyes are the focal point of visual contact, they are often the first to show signs of a tired, aged appearance. Eyelid surgery, also known as a blepharoplasty, is a facial plastic surgery procedure designed to correct droopiness and wrinkling of the upper eyelids along with puffy under eye bags. This is achieved by removing excess fat, skin and muscle or volumizing with fat transfers. Blepharoplasty may be performed on the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids, or both.

Browlift/Forehead Lift

The browlift is a surgical procedure, designed to provide a smooth, lifted forehead.

As we age, the eyebrows tend to sag and start pushing down our upper eyelid skin. This can give a tired look to the eyes, as well as an angry or scowled look to the face. The browlift is a surgical procedure, designed to provide a smooth, lifted forehead. Dr. Sultan gives patients natural looking results; restoring a rested and youthful appearance. Furthermore, the browlift may improve visual function, as it raises sagging skin.

Chin Augmentation

Chin augmentation surgery creates a more defined chin and jawline and can have a significant impact on one's appearance.

The chin augmentation procedure is a low-risk procedure that can create dramatic but natural-looking results. It is often performed with other facial plastic surgery procedures as a way to maintain facial balance or improve the overall facial aesthetic. Chin augmentation is most often paired with rhinoplasty to achieve a balanced profile. A chin implant can be added to a facelift to achieve a smooth, aesthetically-contoured, youthful jawline as well.

Facial and Neck Liposuction

Fat accumulates easily in the neck, especially under the chin, causing the appearance of a double chin.

Excess fatty deposits in the chin, neck and cheeks may give the appearance of being overweight, or make the neck look like it hangs or cheeks look like they droop. Liposuction is the most effective treatment available for the removal of localized fatty deposits that don’t respond to changes in diet and exercise.

Facial Fat Transfer

Volume loss is particularly more pronounced around the eyes, cheeks, and jawline, where fat grafting can play a great role in rejuvenation.

The signs of aging are often secondary to volume loss, and may manifest as thin lips, sunken cheeks and hollowing around the eyes. Dr. Sultan restores volume and helps rejuvenate the face by borrowing fat from one part of the body and selectively transferring it to the face.

Facial Implant

Many patients seek this procedure to improve harmony among facial features, it can also be a long-term solution to create a more youthful, full facial profile.

The contours of the jaw line, chin, and cheekbones are important factors in the overall symmetry of the face.  Facial implants can help to regain facial harmony or accentuate desired features.

Otoplasty

Many people are self-conscious about ears that stick out, and feel that it undermines their attractiveness.

Otoplasty (ear surgery) is a plastic surgery procedure in which prominent ears are set back closer to the head and/or large ears are reduced in size. Though the procedure is most often performed on children between the ages of four and fourteen, otoplasty may also be performed on adults.

Earlobe Repair

The earlobe is a common area that can become stretched, torn, or deformed from jewelry or trauma.

Earlobe repair is a common procedure for men and women, children and adults. Years of wearing heavy earrings can stretch the earlobe, making it difficult to wear studs. Also, traumatic tears of the earlobe can result in an unattractive cosmetic appearance. Reestablishing the contour and symmetry of the earlobe helps to restore the attractive natural appearance to the ear and allow the patient to re-pierce their ear.
